I got into Invisionfree by joining other boards, but the Skin Zone is now it for me. So all I think are reflections of how the SZ is doing, and I think it's doing as good as it always has. ZetaBoards will make things better too; only a few features are available on the test board, but we won't know how many great ones there truly are until we can see them up and running on here and other boards.

It seems like every time I log into the Beta board I find a new feature.

Maybe I'm just "old-fashioned", but aside from the nice default skin, Zeta just hasn't impressed me to be quite honest.

The user interface on ZetaBoards wasn't as impressive as I was expecting, but it's still getting there IMO. It has features being packed into it, but that's the problem, it may still take another year for the whole thing to be released. It was announced a few years ago, like in 2004, and although the whole production speed of it has picked up, it's not that much faster and it is stil taking quite a long time to be fully completed. I know that many people may hate how long the wait has been, as do I, but I guess it is somewhat worth the wait for something that will surely become the largest free forum provider out there. Of course there will always be competetion, but InvisionFree got into the game so early that there really isn't going to be something, at least I believe, that will over take it in anything.

As for communities, I fell that ZetaBoards will start to produce much more successful communities that continually grow, other than just those few three boards with over 1,000,000 posts, two being IF Support and SZ, and the other being a football forum. There will be so much to attract users that have used other forum softwares, so I'm sure the boards that have a good base will grow into a big board, continually gaining posts, and hopefully surpassing 1,000,000 at some point during their history.

Also, I hope the administrative interface is more exciting than the user interface, otherwise this would be such a let-down. From what others have asked Brandon, along with from what I've asked, it does seem as though it will be amazing. I just hope that my assumption is a correct one, and does not prove wrong.

I don't like what Zeta Boards looks like right now, IF has a great look already.

Invisionfree was very late into the forum market. It's still young by standards today.
