Well I personally don't believe in Global Warming because of this program I saw on TV. Your all going to disregard this because your probably thinking right now that I'm a "believe everything I see" kinda guy. Wrong. I'm not. There was more evidence pointing towards that, then the actual Events of Global Warming. Yeah I know it sounds stupid but this is true; Even tho it's right in Theory, doesn't make it right in Real life. Many Scientific things are "Right in Theory" but not in practicality(is that even a word). Anyway. Even the Scientist which came up with this "Dooms-Day Theory" didn't believe it. I mean how can you trust something that not even the Scientist believes? The World changes. Get used to it. You think the Mammoths drove around in cars and that's why they had an Ice Age? No. The World changes and no it isn't changing faster because of CO2 Emissions. Your probably going to Google some website to "prove to us" that's its real and extremely drastic but that's wrong. Most of the things on the Internet are lies because you can't find reliable sources. This is just my opinion, and no one can persuade me. |

I'm not saying global warming isn't true. The world is getting warmer, but there are different theories as to how it's getting warmer. Some say it is all man made while others say it's just a phase like the supposidly mini ice age in the 1970's. I personaly think it's a bit of both. Humans aren't the only reason for global warming and I've also watched a documentary on CNN I believe, the glenn beck show or something and it described how Al Gore's movie intentionaly left out some facts that discredited his ideas. Not saying I don't believe in global warming. But this issue has become more of a political issue and not a enviromental one. |

Oh-my-g-d. Do you know what really gets me mad? People still arguing about the subject of Global Warming, and STILL debating whether it's true or not. I mean, you've got your idiotic radical liberals to your left, you've got Bushy and your good ol' sharp shooter to your right, you've got that idiot in Iran who denies everything for no apparent reason behind you with a knife, and then you've got twenty million Americans which pitch forks infront of you. Don't you people get it? It's time to stop debating whether Global Warming is really happening or not. In another twenty years when a third of the human population is dead, your all going to just say, "Well I didn't know that Global Warming existed, because I don't know anything about politics, and I left my life in the hands of two stupid liberals! Why didn't we stop it before? Why didn't we fix this for our childrens sake? OMG!!" Really, I'm going to die laughing when people are still debating Global Warming when there's category six hurricanes, a third of the African population drop dead due to dehydration, and drought, and when nearly all of the fresh water is gone, while we Americans are over here sipping Starbucks coffee, wondering why it's so hot out, and hearing that our atmosphere is nearly gone. LMAO. |

Certainly. Ever heard of droughts? Well, Global Warming is already heating the planet up. Though, as you obviously know, it's increasing at alarming rates. Entire rivers and lakes have already dried up, and nearly 35% of glaciers have dissapeared. Now due to the heat, all of the water will, of course, evaporate, or simply be dumped into the ocean, or turn into polluted water over in places like Africa due to water shortages. Obviously, Africa and other impoverished places have very little water currently. If conditions continue to continue like this, nearly all of their water would have been depleted, resulting in major droughts across the region. This would result in famine across the region due to no water to water plants, resulting in starvation and dehydration all over. Still don't believe me? Well then you obviously know nothing about Global Warming. Good day ![]() EDIT: You spelled "is" wrong.

You do realize that most people who agree that there is a global warming problem, don't even think that a third of the population will be dead in 20 years? And most people don't think that it will affect us for at least 50-100 years. Not that it will ever. In the 70's there was a huge Ice Age scare, and everyone got all panicked. Well, I don't know about everone else but its about 75 here right now. |

Lets see if your smart enough to put the words 'Smart' and 'Ass' together which will make a rude word. Ever heard of that? I mean... you make a fantastic topic! Jeez... I'd fail to think of one like it. Even... with the title "No One Cares", I'm sure everyone will know it's to do with Global Warming! Haha...no seriously... we all said to our selves "This topic is to do with Global Warming". I might die of laughing too by your stupidity to ruin such a good topic! Gosh...
I loved what you said there above... full of sarcastic humour... bad jokes and much needed repair of idiotic slang. You, sir, need a medal for stupidity. Why, idk999, don't you get this topic closed if you don’t want anyone to debate in it any further... why, may I be mistaken, and think it was a topic for debating? I'd choose my words wisely my child. It may get you into trouble.

You can't 'solve' global warming... It has been proven that it is affected almost entirely by the sun. When scientists collected data from our Earth, and compared the heat of the Earth for the past millions of years to data related to the sun and more specificallyl sun spots, they were almost directly related. And as far as CO2 goes, it has been always thought that the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere governs the temperature of the Earth. It is now known that the amount of CO2 is not the governing element to this equation (no pun intended) but instead is a result to the Earth's changing climate. If you people did your research, you would not be arguing about how using less crap is causing global warming. It's not to say that using less products that harm our environment would not be a good idea, because this obviously would be a good idea. It would make for cleaner air and better living conditions, but it would not solve global warming. Global warming is a natural occurence and the temperature of the Earth has been fluxuating since the initial existance of Earth. Edit. I read IDK's post about droughts and thought quietly to myself "wow this guys is completely...." well you get the point. You obviously don't understand that when water evaporates, it still exits. It falls back to the earth as what we call precipitation. You cannot destroy matter, you can only convert it. If you think that all of our water is going to disapear, I'm sorry but you are absolutely nuts/incorrect. Earth will always have the same amount of water no matter what you do, it will just exist in different forms. Another idea that sparked in my mind as I was typing: If the world is heating up, and supposidly the the water is evaporating (and in your weak and unstable mind) seizing to exist, then how would you explain the huge amounts of water being dumped into the rest of the world by the ice caps. If there was going to be a cotastrauphy, it would not be droughts, it would be floods. Ponder this for a moment. |

As for the water statement you made, I am well aware of this. Also, please provide references for the sun statement ![]() Back to the water statement, yes. I am well aware of the law of matter. Problem is, there is no law stating that water cannot fall somewhere else, after it turns into precipitation. Plus, I said there will be a 'fresh water' drought. This means that the 'fresh' water will be no more. We are losing fresh water every day. Bit by bit. It's possible for it to rain over oceans. Correct? This means that fresh water could arguably be turned into salt water from raining over salt water. This would reduce the fresh water. This is merely speeding up the process. Plus, heat evaporates water. Agreed? This means that as it gets warmer, more water evaporates. This means that water would be displaced more often. Eventually, there will be a major 'fresh water' drought. Also: http://www.cnn.com/2007/TECH/science/05/02....ice/index.html |

That link proves nothing... You are an idiot. Destroying your own argument. Seriously now. I'm laughing at your stupidity like you'll be laughing at us when nothing happens and you'll feel so stupid. It's all politically driven to boost sales, which boosts money which boosts the Politicians pay. Yay? You have been brain-washed in a sense. You believe in Global Warming...that's fine but now your believing it will happen in 20 Years and kill one third of the Worlds Population? Please tell me your not serious. Like oh so many people have stated before me all the previous disasters to do with the Weather before us and the World is still going...with Humans before we had all this technology then gosh darn it are we screwed now. I mean come on they just had clothes! Think about it! We have Heating in our houses...we'll never survive! An IQ Of A Cabbage > You. |

Dude, shut up. Really, I couldn't care less if this topic gets closed, so listen up. I'm tired of you constantly coming up with this liberal propaganda. Really, your probably some leftist liberal couch potatoe, who gets his sources from some random Yahoo blog. Global Warming has been proven. Maybe not legally, but it has; enough. Really, I'm going to die laughing when we're all dying because of Global Warming, and liberals such as yourself are still denying it. You, my friend, are probably going to deny it till there's nothing left. Your never going to accept the truth. Your going to keep denying it until no further action can be taken, and then your going to ask why we didn't take any action. When Global Warming becomes a major problem to both sides and people begin to dramatically panic, make sure you log onto the IFSZ. I'd like to toss you a giant, "LMAO" PM right into the top of your mailbox. |
