I'm pretty sure it's the conservatives, right-wings (You know, BUSH - the one you were blaming) that are 'denying' global warming, not the liberals.
So, you're going to take pleasure from global warming? Let's scream rape and preach about global warming, and then completely turn around and act like an ass... Niiiicccce. |

Yes, I'm going to take pleasure in this. No one really cares, and we're all going to die anyway, as no one could give a bloody hell as to what happens, nor does anyone want to get off their bloody asses and actually do something about this. So I find it funny. That's why I'm taking pleasure in this. Why not have the last laugh, whilst you prepare to die? Also, just for the record, it is liberals. Liberals are the cause of the majority of the stuff in America... Also, Bush seems pretty liberal to me I mean, if going into Iraq, stealing all of the oil and killing and torturing thousands of individuals sounds American and traditional, I don't know what the bloody hel the word, "conservative" means anymore. I mean, really.

Yeah, you're fourteen. Go and play Batman or something - there are adults and politicians making a larger impact than you ever could on an Internet forum for skinning forums. You actually expected people to say, "Oh my god, he's right, I totally agree with him!" and adapt their ways because of what some uninformed kid said on a forum after he watched "An Inconvenient Truth"? Gore left out the stats that help prove that it isn't just carbon emissions. Hmm, I wonder why. |

We will be long gone once our atmosphere is gone. Remember someone a long time ago that World War III will be fought with sticks and stones. |

I completely agree with you. You all have to realize to be informed, you need the facts. The facts don't come from some website saying we need to go live in tents to save the Earth, you need to do research. |

Ok, you have to realize that there is A LOT of bogus stuff going around the world, people with power can say whatever they want. I heard some scientists say that the Earth is changing all by itself, and the emissions aren't making that much of change, its nature. Im not gonna say that i agree with this guy, but just wanting you guys to know... don't believe everything you hear. Moreover, im afraid your information is false, please get your facts straight BEFORE you post. 10 and 20 years is a SHORT amount of time, its not long AT ALL. The whole "pollution" problem could also be made because of economic problems, hybrid cars a new idea? Anyway... Nothing drastic will occur, I have seen the documentaries and such and nothing MAJOR will happen in half a century, heh im thinking of 2070 when things can become a bit wierd, how the hell does 6 billion population get whiped out in 10 to 20 years?! Thats just bogus unless America declares WWIII with some country and they all have nuclear warfare OR for the more sci-fi ppl... the huge asteroid which is supposed to pass by Earth, hits the planet in 20 years from now. Just chill dude, first try to fight the HUMAN problems such as AID/HIV and other diseases. So relax, start conserving energy if you want, even the slightest change makes a difference, i have flourescent bulbs in my condo. |

You're going to take pleasure from global warming and all the deaths you say is coming within the next 20 years, but on the same end you're trying to get the world to change by preaching false information and skewed ideals? Are you living in a cartoon fantasy world? Wow, go watch pokeman, little boy. Also, just for the record, Bush (You know, the republican) is conservative. Get off the internet. Get an education. I mean, really, how can you take yourself seriously? :haha: |

It would be like 2 million cars of the road, actually, so says the almighty Wal-Mart. Also, Mars's atmosphere gave out because its core solidified, dispersing its magnetic shield and letting it be barraged by solar winds, which carried off the atmosphere as well as heat it up to hell. And from before...
It is a supernova. And technically the planet will die when the sun expands before the explosion (by human standards, expansion and explosion are really far apart) and envelops the earth, turning it into a gas that will add onto the sun's mass. Also, the world could end if a gigantic asteroid crashed into it. I'm talking like one that will cause a drain in the ocean, and explode deep within the mantle (think about 100 miles wide, methinks). |

Camora and Cracker, shut up. Please. Why don't you go both go read the pinned announcement in the Brain Juice section regarding how people debate? I remember one of them talking about people who go and insult their opponant because they have nothing good to say. I'm fourteen, meaning I'm a teenager, meaning I'm not "little." Your probably both some random over weight baffoons who just hate young people who are smarter than you. Well, I believe I've gotten my two cents in. Also, just for the record, I believe Pokemon was a sort of Anime created for the age range of three to six. Eight years off there, buddy. Then again, Batman was created for not only children, but your age group (50's, 60's) . Do a little research before talking.Just for the record, I learned about Global Warming before that movie came out, Global Warming is not Democratic propoganda yet Republican propoganda to make the Democratic party look bad after Bush (especially), and I believe our economy was fine before Global Warming. Especially with Clinton. That means that there would have been no reason to 'fix the economy.' Also, why leave this sort of stuff to politicians these days? They'll have their secretary write them up a two page speech, and have their name slapped onto the back of a few monuments for the heck of it. Also, no. I don't expect people to say that at all. It's called a debate. Something you obviously aren't a custom to. Also, infernoduelist, your a bit off on your statistics. It would be more like a mere mile, or a bit more. I don't even know of a meteor a couple hundred miles in diamter, which is the size of a small planet, would even destroy all life in Earth. It might simply just bounce off of Earth, destroying one side of the planet. It probably wouldn't destroy the other side, as it wouldn't really crash and vaporize once it hit the Earth's surface which would obviously not deem it a meteorite, meaning it wouldn't create the shockwave that you would get from a smaller meteor. |

You never know about this information you are getting. These days you can't believe anything politicians say, because half of it is bull. If a Scientist says that the Earth is going through a phase of global warming (without the pollution etc.) then why would we believe in the government? Why wouldn't we believe the scientist if he has credible information? Thats the point, you just don't believe what anyone says. Why else do you think ppl aren't screaming in the streets "omg we are all gonna die! REDUCE! REUSE! RECYCLE! So we can survive!" Do you really think that every one of us is an ignorant moron? The auto makers created the expensive hybrid cars now, and people are buying them because of "protecting the planet"? This is all a hoax man, its the business world, people lie at you every minute. But don't worry i saw in CNN that by 2009 there won't be any oil left in the Earth for cars, busses etc. So who knows? If a mile wide meteor/asteroid hits it will kill millions, people suggest that, thats how the dinosaurs died. So if we die from that, then i guess history repeats itself. Anyway a meteor won't BOUNCE off Earth, the meteor isn't a rubber bouncy ball you get from the dollar store. The Earth's gravatational pull will bring the meteor in, and once it hits ANYWHERE. It WILL effect the other side of the planet, no matter what the size. Its common Physics. Do you really think that there were more than 1 meteor which whiped out the dinosaurs? No, it was probably only 1. After the meteor hit, there were Earthquakes and Tidal Waves etc. then the dust from the collision went up to the atmosphere, and covered the air around the Earth, the sun was not seen for ages! Therefore... the plants couldn't grow, which also meant NO OXYGEN, which means... they died. This is common knowledge man. Go watch a movie from the library on that, and you'll understand. Like i said before, go make a campaign on saving the HUMANS first, from diseases like HIV and AIDS etc. There is no point on saving the planet if we are already dead from the diseases. |

I didn't read through every post, but if it came down to just simply changing a light bulb, why blame the populous only when it could be as simple as the companies that produce the light bulbs. If they only produced energy saving bulbs, eventually everyone would have one. Simple as that, their are many ways to get things done, you just have to think. ~ Crimson |

A debate = taking one side and proving your point. So far, you've managed to come in here, guns blazing, blaming everyone for global warming, saying this that and the other, then turning the opposite way, ignoring your 'pleas' and wanting to save our planet and say you will laugh at the deaths that may occur from this. Are you bipolar? You can't have it both ways. Your such a hypocrite. You know who tells others to shut up? Bill O'riley. You must be his and Rosie O'Donnalls love child?
As I recall and see from this thread, most of the members responding think you're a joke. Thanks for the analysis on cartoons. Too bad you're completely wrong though. http://animefan25.tripod.com/pkmnhistor.htm (5th paragraph - the age demographic for pokemon) or http://www.everything2.com/index.pl?node_id=793700
OMFG. Buddy. You just said it was the Liberals that were the cause of the majority of the problems, and now, yet again you're saying the complete opposite. Read you're posts. Stop trying. |
