The second day is underway, after a day one of a few surprises and disappointments for teams and their fans. What are your thoughts on the draft? Are you happy with your team's selections? I'm a big Vikings fan, and I must say for a change, I'm happy with their choices. I really thought they'd find a way to screw something up, but with the selections of Adrian Peterson and Sidney Rice, combined with the defensive choices, things may be looking up for the purple. |

I didn't really understand why minnesota got petterson to be honest. They had bigger needs and chester was still effective before. |

Because he was clearly the best player available, and we spent a second rounder on a quarterback last year that we haven't given a fair chance yet, so there wasn't a need to get Brady Quinn. Plus, teams have been having a ton of success with two running backs, and it should work great in our "kick ass" offense. |

Tavaris Jackson? I'm not sure if he's the answer at QB for the Vikings. I felt that they should have picked Quinn but Peterson is still a good choice. What angered/suprised me was Ted Ginn getting picked by the Dolphins over Quinn. That was downright stupid by Cam Cameron and he will pay dearly for his stupidity in thinking that Ginn will be an impact at the reciever position. Although the Vikes did have a good draft. Sidney Rice is a major prospect who can be their 1 and Marcus Mccauley is in my opinion one of the best CB's in the draft. He just had a dissapointing senior season, but if he plays like he did when he was a junior, he could become a shutdown corner. I think the Browns were winners in this draft, managing to snag Quinn at 22 and getting the lineman they needed as well. Also Eric Wright is a very talented CB, who woula been taken earlier but he had some character issues so he slipped to mid/late 2nd round. I was suprised w/ the Colts 1st pick in taking Anthony Gonzalez because they seemed to play very well with Clark in the slot anyway and they really needed some LB help which they coulda gotten with Paul Posluznsky and David Harris on the board but Bill Polian (Colts GM) is an incredible drafter so i trust his decisions in building the team. I hope Tony Ugoh pans out as well because they gave up a 1st rounder (next years) for him. |

Shanny had a typical Shanny draft... finally drafted some DL this year Jarvis Moss, Tim Crowder, Marcus Thomas, plus signed Steven Harris, DT, Florida, Marquay McDaniel, WR, Hampton and Brandon Pace, PK, Virginia Tech as UDFA's. Plus I think we got Roderick Rogers a safety from Wisconsin as a UDFA even though I was hoping to get Leonard Peters from Hawaii...who Reggie Bush said is one of the only guys he was scared of last year. Ryan Harris is another good pickup for depth at the OL. And I was mad about how he traded #21 overall, our 3rd and 6th round picks to Jacksonville for their #17...because we could've probably picked up Moss at 21 anyways..and if not we could've gotten Joe Staley in the 1st, Tim Crowder in the 2nd, Marcus Thomas/other DT in the 3rd and John Wendling - S - Wyoming with our other 3rd. And we also had to trade our remaining 6th and 7th round picks + next years 3rd round for the 4th round pick we got to get Marcus Thomas. Hopefully our picks work out well... |

My favorite running back in College last year was Adrian Peterson, or also known as All Day. The reason why the Minnesota Vikings got him is because their running back gets in lots of trouble. Well, I shouldn't say lots but he may get introuble this season and they don't want to not have a running back. Also, as Crocks said, the teams that have two running backs are doing good because they are healthy, maybe that is what the Vikings are doing. |

Exactly. Personally, I could care less about any other team's luck in the draft. I'm currently to excited about the Patriot's acquiring Moss. Brady and Moss will most likely make the most deadliest quarterback - wide receiver combination living in the league. |

? Doubt anything tops Manning-Harrison. Look up their stats together. If the stats could spell out words it would say: Dynamic Duo |

Tampa Bay did have a Pretty good Draft, Im still a little upset they didnt get there hands on Calvin Johnson, they need another Playmaker like him to help out there Core of young Quarterbacks behind Jeff Garcia, but ofcourse they could help out Garcia to. I also dont see why the Colt wouldnt beable to repeat, Yes they lost Dominic Rhodes and Cato June but they have added on additions to help from the draft, the addition of Anthony Gonzalez is huge as he could be another ....better Brandon Stokley, I wouldnt be shocke dif they did win it all again but Colts vs Pats in the playoffs will be another bruiser. |

Excellent point... However, I am also mistaken. We should refrain from debating this issue just yet. First, shall we see how Brady and Moss work out this year? I'm getting my hopes a bit to high I admit, they could end up conflicting over the fame and fortune and get caught up in themselves and end up one of the worst combinations this time 'round. I'd like to see them work nonetheless, it'd be a Pat fan's dream. |

Yes lets see how they perform this season. NO doubt they could be an amazing WR-QB tandem but only if Moss plays like he used to play (I have complete faith in Brady being able to work it out). |
