What do you think about the Internet? Do you think it's a good idea? Do you agree about the freedom on it? How people can hack into personal stuff? How terrorists can use it to get their advantage?

On another note, do you think it will become so powerful everything will be used by the Internet? :/

Discuss... keep in mind; I would like this to be on a seriousness note.

I obviously love the Internet because I choose to spend over half of my time (with the exception of sleeping) on it. I suppose it's neat to be able to talk to people around the World and discuss different matters with them. I know that you can get that in real life too, but I'm personally more comfortable with text. Online gaming is just great, especially games where you can create your own character and live out your fantasies (at least the closest you'll get to slaying a dragon or a crowd of zombies).

As for hacking a terrorists, I'm not for that. :P Any crime isn't a good thing, and I believe it's expected to have some of it on such a large thing.

I think the internet has totally changed our society. You can find almost any information on almost any topic, and most of it is free. It's restructured the buisness world, changed politics, and changed the way the news is spread. The downside of it is that some other areas have shrunk, such as the newspaper industry, which has been having increasing circulation problems.

All in all, the internet is a good thing. There are some things that you need to be careful with, like where you use your credit card, because the numbers can be stolen, but for the most part it is a marvelous thing.

But really, the internet has completely changed society. Think how hard it would be to write a paper without using the internet!

The internet has been formed to allow this world to communicate more fully; it will only grow.

Was that really necessary? O_o

I agree on most of you above. The Internet has been coming more and more 'entertaining' for Adults... adolescences and young children. I fear that we will become more and more reliable to it and need it more. :/

Since I'm here I think it is good. Just like walking down the street you can't start talking to everyone you meet. That's what most forget or don't notice and they give out all their personal information. And it probably will become even more used then TV Soon. As prices for it go down more people will use it and companies will use it to advertise exactly how Television is used now.

The internet is the greatest communication tool the world has even seen, so yes, I'd call it a good thing. The cons are far less then the pros, such as increased knowledge throughout the world. The more we know, the better suited we are for life. :)

The internet is probably the best thing that has ever happened to the world. It makes us communicate in ways unimaginable. Only careless people who don't think get viruses etc. (well usually.)

The internet is a fascinating and thoroughly amazing tool, unfortunately it's impossible to stop it getting into the wrong hands, but I think the good outweighs the bad.
