iPod. :)

Quote:

A ) Very thick when it comes to technology;
B ) Have more money than sense.
iPods are seriously bad value for money, and aren't the best on the market (not these days anyway).

ROFL.

Why don't you back those statements up?

Edit: [:)]

And easy:
A) = a backup of B )
B ) = Batteries for iPods are notoriously known to die around a year (if ya lucky), the pad sometimes get sticky, the reliability of them isn't the best... and you can only use iTunes with it until recent versions where they allow most formats (and at that limited).

I've had my iPod for 2 years now and the battery is even better than it was when I bought it. Apple releases software updates that do, in fact, improve the hardware as well.

People don't know how to take care of their batteries.

Right-on, Vulcan. I was about to write up something similar, but you/zenchick spared me the time :P

For the very casual music listener who has lots of cash to blow, or parents with money to spend, iPod is an OK choice. Apple makes so much of a killing on them that any other player which is advertised just gets drowned out by Apple's marketing.

I am an audiophile and prefer .FLAC to Ogg Vorbis, which I prefer to mp3, which I prefer to .aac or .m4a. I'd rather carry around a bulky CD player than a slim player that doesn't support ogg vorbis or flac. At least they have equalizers... *-)

Yeah, iPods have equalizers, dude.

Just more proof that most of you bashing the iPod don't know what the hell you're talking about.

And you're the living proof iPods are, in fact, dangerous brainwashing machines. :P
Either that or you're a lawyer tasked with defending Apple.

Any custom Equalizer settings? Last time I checked you couldn't transfer custom ones to the iPod. Anyway, if you could, that's still one point you have.

Now justify the locked circuit (only iTunes with iPods), the 65 thousand colors, the poor battery life...

I still have my Dell DJ 20 Generation 2, and it plays music. That's good enough for me.
