I thought Contact lenses were the most wonderful invention on the planet.... until it came to actually owning a pair myself.

I know it takes practice, but screw eyelashes!!! I look like I've had a rough night putting them in!!! But then I feel so much more confident with them in... Anyone else find them evil?!!?!?

I don't find them evil, I love them! It took me a couple of weeks to get used to putting them in, but it's easy now.

Back when i actually wore glasses, i was never actually given the choice of contact lenses, so i've never experienced them at all. I'm not sure how fond i'd be of the idea of putting a little bit of plastic (or whatever it's made of) on my iris.

I guess they really do have the advantage of being easily concealed though, i have a friend who wears them and i seriously only found out he does the other day after knowing him for about a year now.

I don't feel comfortable wearing contact lenses; I prefer my glasses. :)

I was quite content with my contacts when I used them quite some time ago, and thought of them as an improvement from glasses most definitely. Just give it time, you'll get better at it.

Weh I be....

I wear contacts as well. It took me only about a week to get used to putting them in, and I had my contacts for about 4 months. I have Accuvue Oasis contacts, and they are great. Are comfortable for about 2 weeks.

I love contacts...well I never really had a problem putting them in or getting used to them, so maybe that's why.

I have small eyes. :(
So I wouldn't be able to put them in, I don't think.
I only wear glasses when it's absolutely DIRE anyhow. :)

I hate my glasses, they're such a pain. Then again i groan about putting in my contact lenses in the morning, because it's a pain. But once it's overwith, im fine. They're so easy, 1 try and it takes me about 10-15 seconds to put them in on most mornings.

I wear both glasses and contacts. Glasses when I'm lazy, don't want to put them in, and feeling brainy, but my contacts just because putting glasses back on screw me up. i sleep in my lenses and only have to take them out twice a week, so its not so bad though. i dont like the glasses because of the small spaces around the frame that you can see out of - makes everything blurry

They WILL get easier...so much easier that you can stick put them and take them out without even knowing.

They irritated my eyes a lot, so i kept them in for months straight...when I would take them out, i swear I could feel a film of my eye come out with it, it was pretty painful. It felt like I always had rocks in my eyes. Eventually my mom found out, that's why I wear glasses again :(

Never worn glasses to help me see. Only contact lenses. I think they are easier:

If you break one, you don't have to wait or pay a ton for new ones.
You can use them more than one day, if you use the Dailies like I do.
You don't look different, and there's nothing sitting on your nose for the whole day.
You have a full spectrum of perfect vision, rather than just the glasses.
It only takes half a minute each day to put them in and even less to take them out.
You can even sleep with them in. Although it's not a good idea. I only do that when I take naps.

Sure they might irritate you sometimes, but glasses can irritate you too. You might get them dirty or even scratch them.
