I can't stand glasses, and I could never get the contacts in my eye, so I haven't used them. I plan on getting laser eye surgery.

I have glasses since I didn't want contact lenses, though I never wear it. I don't really need it, too.

When I get older, I am also getting laser eye surgery. I don't want contacts OR glasses. I want 20/20 vision.

I wore them for 2 years, and believe me, they get tiring :| The first 2 weeks they were a pain to put on, but with practice it was not a problem anymore. They were great (better than glasses for me) but they started to give me problems. In the day, with enough light, I had no problems at all with them, but I night, they started bothering my eyes and giving me problems to see correctly.

2 Years after, one morning, I was going to put them on, and they gave me problems like hell. They irritated my eyes, letting them all read and hurting me, so I threw them to the floor and jumped over them, after promising myself never to use them again. Now I'm a happy person :)

I have contacts and glasses and I prefere the contacts on the glasses anyday. Glasses bring unwanted oil to my face where contacts don't. :) Yeah they are bee to get used to but in the long run they are fun.

(yeah I make this exat same topic and no one reaspones to it, I see how all of you love me.... lol check my history I aint lying. :P hehehehehe )

I got my contacts in in 20 mins today - GO ME!!

I also accidently pinched my eyeball trying to get them out - which was not the most enjoyable experience.

screw eyelashes!!!

Amen. I didn't have prescription lenses, 'cause I'm a jerk with perfect vision, but I tried to have the different color lenses that are $20. =D It took me like an hour to put one side in and it irritated my eye so much from the struggle which seemed to be a war between my nail, finger, the lens, the liquid on it, and my eyelashes that I had to take it out in a matter of minutes... I'm glad I don't have prescription ones. xD

I've been wearing specs for the last 7 years (perscription changes once every 2-3 years as my eyes got slightly worse than the last time), and I find it only takes 2, 3 seconds tops to pick them up & put them on in a fluid motion, even with unfolding the arms whist picking them up. Plus since one eye is slightly weaker than the other, only having to handle 1 object is much easier than 2 small bits of plastic which have to be precision-placed on the eyes.

I don't feel comfortable wearing contact lenses; I prefer my glasses. :)

I used to have glasses. I got contact lenses just under a year ago. I love them, although lately they have burned every time I put them in...

But soon I'm getting some of those really breathable ones you can sleep in, and I will feel intense pleasure.
