=/ Stupid. The games are awesome, I love them to death. But a movie? Just stupid. Then again, I did think that Transformers movie was going to be bad, and now look. Maybe. |

But, Transformer's has some form of a story line, actually many story lines. The Sims, you live life and have laughs about it, with the occasional climb up the ladder thing for story mode, there's no real big story to base anything off of.

I agree. Unless they follow someone moving up the promotion ladder - apart from that - there isn't anything.

Something tells me it's just going to be a movie plot that's acted by Sims characters. |

I agree with you. I think it will be that way. I love the games, but a movie is just plain stupid :S |

I saw that movie as a child and it was actually pretty good imo. Plus the Mario games have a story line, so it'd be pretty easy to make a film out of one. The Sims as a movie is impossible 0_0 |

What? There's really no objectives in the game ... other than living. So the movie sounds like it will be boring, but I suppose we'll see what happens.

No no no, you're all looking at this the wrong way. Think of it this way: It starts with regular people, just regular, ordinary people, living ordinary lives. Then, odd things start to happen. People start doing things they wouldn't normally do. Going places they wouldn't normally go. Flash to the alternate universe, turns out that the first universe is a game. That game being the Sims. What happens when the Sims characters realize that everything they do is controlled by a higher power, just for fun? Then the two universes kind of collide. The main character from the real world gets sucked into the fake Sims world, the simulation, and is the only one not being controlled. And he has to figure out a way of getting through to the player that the other world is real, and dying. :o It could work. Doubtfully, but it could work. There's your plot EA, go with it. |

I am going to say nothing until I actually find out about the plot, until then this emoticon sums up my reaction:
