Some people do lurk for the content, as some people are just kunts.

Scotty is an exception to my hypothesis of lurkers are intelligent ;) :P

Thanks, I think :P

Depends how long the thread is, but yeah I do read posts.

I normally read the first page and the last page like others have said to see where the conversation has led.

Hey, I'm not stupid, I just like taking compliments when they're not meant to be compliments

I usually start reading everything, but if people start to repeat themselves, I start to skip some posts, but continue reading. The skipping gaps get longer if people continue to repeat themselves, and I continue that way until I get to the end. Then I post :)

Depends on how many replies. I don't want to read 2-4 pages of the same thing basically being posted over and oveer.

It wouldn't sound so bad if I could soften the "ck" sound with a "c".

The word "kunt" is a replaceable insult, which can be excused with "idiot" "silly person" or some other PC way of saying it, which in the end all have the same meaning.

It was in reply to someone who said that their content was stolen by a lurker. Which is indeed a little harsh as they didn't even intend even intend to use the forum for a forum.

I'll aways read the first post, if it interests me I'll read more and if I'm going to post I'll usually end up reading most of the thread.

I usually read the entire topic thoroughly pinpointing the best post that I can criticize the most and/or include high amounts of sarcasm that makes me feel awesome.

But if the topic lacks it, I just move on.

Congrats on the 1000! :P

I always read every post in a topic because pretty much every opinion does matter and I hate to waste time writing out something that was already written before by someone else.

It really depends on the date the topic was made and how many replies it has.

If there's one page of replies, I'll read them all. If there's more than one page I'll read the first few and the last few. If a topic is new, however, I'll skim over all of the replies to make sure there's no spam, flaming, etc.

I read the first post, and random others, then post, depends on the topic discussion, of course.

I generally read through the first few posts, after that I just come up with a reply based on that. :)
