I found a link somewhere that showed me Castles for sale. OMG I wish I was a millionaire. It would be a dream to own a castle with dozens of rooms and multiple floors. I would love to own something like Cardiff Castle. What do you all think about owning castles? |

Castles are large, easily defendable installations that have not so great heating and a condensation problem. I wouldn't want to live in one, but it would be nice to visit. |

I would only live in one that had a moat and a freaking draw bridge. Heh, I'd probably live in a carboard box if it had those features. |

That would be one sweet cardboard box. ![]() Tramps from miles around will be watching you and your box in envy. Personally I wouldn't really want to own a castle. Definitely not for living in anyway. |

I like houses that you can go through and then go back and find a secret place that no one knows about and stay there when no ones looking |

If any castle I'd have a Spanish one, or perhaps a Scottish castle. Just not any medieval castle. |

If it were this castle I would love to own it. I would challenge all the kids in the neighborhood to try to scale the walls

Castles kind of creep me out, I don't know why. I wouldn't want to live in one, but visiting would be cool. |

I would rather tour one than live in one. Although they may look quite nice, I would not like the job of managing and cleaning such a large structure. |

Owning a castle would rock. I'd probably run up and down hallways screaming and going into the courtyard to play some b-ball.

That is one nice looking castle, you have taste. However you would probably have to worry about flooding. If you observe the bottom of the castle walls you will notice a whitish line surrounding it which would probably indicate the water rose to that level and stayed there for some time. It really is a nice castle though!! I think owning one would be fun. Of course though you would have to modernize it as I don't see many of us living with stinky medival style bathrooms. You probably wouldn't need to modernize all of it though. Just modernize the part you live in and restore the other part and make it a museum or something. Castles have history!!

Castles are huge. I definitely wouldn't want to live in one, but I'd be up for a visit. Living in a castle would just make me feel lonely. Nah, I would much prefer to live in something smaller. |
