If it were this castle I would love to own it. I would challenge all the kids in the neighborhood to try to scale the walls  :arr:

That is one nice looking castle, you have taste. However you would probably have to worry about flooding. If you observe the bottom of the castle walls you will notice a whitish line surrounding it which would probably indicate the water rose to that level and stayed there for some time. It really is a nice castle though!

No, actually, that white line is where the foundation ends. :P If the water level had stayed that high for that long, it would have made the bridge underwater for quite some time. :P The only flooding problem would be if there were a basement under that small island the castle is sitting on, which isn't very probable. In fact, that foundation most likely prevents any flooding. You can tell because there is also a white line at the top of the castle, where the roofings and towers were connected.

I take classes on architecture. :P

@Lizzy: You could invite all your friends to live with you and have wild castle ballroom parties though. xD It's what I'd do.

I would simply wrap the entire foundation in Saran wrap, clearly circumventing the flooding issue. I win. :)

I'm not big on having mass space and living all alone, but man, castles are cool! If I were rich, I'd make it into a fantasy castle like the stories I love.

Would be interesting but I'd probably chicken out. Too large and probably would be empty. Castles are still awesome though :)

I'd buy one and just leave it. I wouldn't commercialise it like Dover/Leeds/Rochester/Hever have been.

I might not want to own a castle, but I think it would be fun to live in one. :) I'd have plenty of space and secret rooms to hide in.

I'll stick with an apartment, thanks. If I'm by myself, and even with my future wife, why do I need all of that space?

I found a link somewhere that showed me Castles for sale. OMG I wish I was a millionaire.

It would be a dream to own a castle with dozens of rooms and multiple floors. I would love to own something like Cardiff Castle.

What do you all think about owning castles?

Stay out of my Castle ;)

Theres a few Castles around my way, Castle Coch is cool, I would love to live in one, and have a dungeon to put my enemies in :arr:
