I cannot wait for the final Harry Potter book, and the next movie looks pretty good too.

Evidently there's going to be a date rape scene in the seventh book. :o
The movies... sucked. Compared to the book at least. Just horrible representation. But I'm in absolute love with the books.
XD You saw the podcast? I absolutely love them. Perhaps JKR will truly be loyal to her fans and have a character bleed to death in a back alley sex change operation. - Quote:

Why'd you have to tell me that! I've been purposely avoiding all Harry Potter website for three months trying not to learn anything about the book before it's released, now I know something. Aghh.
It's a joke from The Onion. -- Anyways, I'm a big fan of the movies and the books. The website RPGs and video games don't appeal to me, but I occasionally read MuggleNet for theories and such.
YES. <3 Haha I love those things. Me and some friends have been debating over who is going to die and what big secret we're going to learn about Lily Potter. I think either Harry, Ginny, Snape or McGonnagall will die. =3 And Lily's big secret isn't that she was a DE, Rowling already denied that guess. I'm thinking that she hid something somewhere.. I really don't know. *re-reads books*
Except for Snape, I disagree with those deaths. I don't think any of the trio will die, or Ginny. Lupin, Voldemort (of course), Peter, Hagrid, and Bellatrix will die, in my opinion.
I hope Hagrid doesn't die. That will be a major downfall for Harry Potter fans, and leave the memory of the series in total sorrow. :sigh:

I love the books and movies - I can't wait for the seventh book to come out. Also, the fifth movie looks great. From the looks of it, I think they picked the perfect person to play Professor Umbridge.

I have a long theory of why Dumbledore is not dead.
To some it up into the most important points:
In the beginning of the Sixth book at Spinners End, Snape met with Bellatrix and Narcisa. I challenge you all to go back and read that..... you will notice something. Snape is way to polite.
Now, lets go to the end of the Sixth book where Snape uses Avada Kadava on Dumbledore. If you reread it, you should notice that Dumbledore is shot backwords off the rower, not dropping dead instantly. Could the real Snape possibly merged the Avada Kadava with Expeliarmus?
Finally, take a look at Dumbledores funeral. What happened? He burst into flame. Sound Like Somebody we know?

Too bad your theory is worthless. :sigh: JKR already said Dumbledore IS dead, definitively.

I didn't know she said that, it's disappointing.
I have so many questions and predictions, but I really cannot wait until I get it. Although, when I finish it, I will be really, really sad.

Besides the fact that indeed, he's dead, (see Nicola's link), there are some issues with that.
It's Bellatrix, who would indeed bring back any news of Snape being rude or denying the question to accept the Unbreakable Vow to Voldemort, who Snape appears to actually fear. Snape, like most Death Eaters would do anything to please the master. However, I feel this could be hinting towards something else, but I doubt the Unbreakable Vow is any work of the Crucio Curse if that's what you're implying.
Re-read the Unforgivable Curses chapter in Book 4, where Moody explains that you cannot actually kill someone with the Avada Kedavra curse unless you actually mean to, and have the full will. Snape probably didn't want to resort to murdering Voldemort, but he most likely values his own life, along with the respect of Voldemort over Dumbledore's. Or perhaps this death was needed in destroying Voldemort. I'm not being so bold as to say Dumbledore is a horcrux (as, he's not) but he was probably important in the role of defeating Voldemort, perhaps because Voldemort was only afraid of Dumbledore. You can't merge spells. =P At least not those ones.
He burst into flames as symbolism. Rebirth is only a phrase in this situation, and while we'd all love to think he's going to be born again like the phoenix, this is not so. Burning the tomb is a tradition in many cultures, and is just them honouring Dumbledore. Or perhaps so no one could get to his body. =r

it could be related to the way the Phoenix works, and JK was very vague on what she said in Nicola's link "Don't Expect Dumbledore to do a gandalf" is very vvague. There was probably a reason she didn't say "He's Dead."
I think this is accurate, and where I got my theory from
