Regardless, I just dislike his character, the way he reacts to things is just a bit odd.

Yeah...I'm to busy reading King novels to go back to Harry Potter, but I can't wait for the new movie. I don't remember anything from Order of the Phoenix anyways...

I agree with you on that, even though he does go through a lot.

I love the books...
I was a bit dissapointed in the movies...

I also dont care much about Harry, he has always been going on my nerves, especially in the 5th book... but I still love it. Snape is my fav character, I love his personality! He's fab!! ;)

I agree that it makes sense that he's moody like that. His parents were killed when he was a baby, he had to live with his aunt and uncle that hardly cared for him at all for thirteen years (in a cupboard), he's had to face extremely hard challenges every year, a lot of people hate him just because he's famous, everyone though he was an insane freak for a year, the only father figure he had since his parents had died also died when Harry was just beginning to get to know him better. And, to top it all off, the most powerful Dark Wizard ever has been trying to kill him since he first realized he was a wizard. Wouldn't you be moody if you were in his place?

Now, away from my rant, lol. I also love the HP series. Both the books and the movies. My favorite book so far is the 6th, and my favorite movie so far is the 5th. I can't wait for the last book, and the last two movies.

Not sad or anxious moody, just weird moody. Like bit your head off at random moments moody, I just don't mix with his personality. In the sixth book especially, not until the end, he doesn't really value his friends at all times, yes that's because he's trying to kill the Dark Lord etc, but still, he's impatient and snapping at some points.

It's true. But what can you expect? Alot of males and young adolescent boys on the verge of becoming adults generally are a little more snappish than usual. Harry's just seeming to have his little rants a little later than most, because Ron hasn't had issues or snap moments like that since the Fourth book in reality.

Yes, he takes his friends for granted, but in a way I also see it as their faults, only because they told him early on they were staying with him, no matter what. They chose to put up with the yelling, and the screaming, and the fact that he is litterally losing everything he's ever held near and dear, and in away I think sometimes he does some of this stuff to shove them away in hopes they'll be smart and leave him so they don't get hurt, though I think it's too late for that in the series.

Did anyone ever go to one of those midnight parties to get the new book at midnight?

Earlier today I preordered the book, but just now I discovered that the book has been leaked onto BitTorrent so I'm rather tempted to go and find it. :P

I think Snape will die so that Harry can kill Voldemort without dying.

Yes, Snape is a good guy. He used to love lilly. Voldermort will kill him.
