It REALLY bugs me when I see people saying "omg you need to have permission to change the width to be another 10px wider!" because...seriously if it improves the usability of the skin does anyone REALLY care? I don't. I personally allow anyone to change on my skins:
Thoughts? Anyone else bugged by this extremely OTT reaction to making a skin more usable? Lets face it..most skins these days have extremely small/hard to read text. Why shouldn't they change the hex code to make it more readable? How it that 'ripping'? |

Minimal edits, additions and fixing problems that arise from how the skin was made seem fine to me. It's just the stuff like changing skin graphics and such that i feel would need permission. |

I would want someone to ask me, its just polite. It I had said a topic that I didnt mind if anyone edited that skin then thats another story but otherwise I appreciate people asking. If it bothers you so much, Nicola, change the TOS to allow for minor edits

I agree with the most part, I dont mind width edits, or like text input becuase they are very minor things. I dont mind them changing the text size either. Not too sure about the background colour, but if they asked im sure I wouldnt have a problem with it. |

Text colour and font size / family. Otherwise I really don't allow changes, because I tend to see that once I give permission for something small they edit the entire skin. I don't like my name one something that isn't really mine, and then they edit the copyright to barely include my name. Normally if they don't like something I will offer to edit it for them. |
