If you put a coin in an empty bottle and insert a cork into the neck of the bottle, how could you remove the coin without taking the cork out or breaking the bottle?

I was so happy when I figured it out I squeeled at the top of my lungs. Do you have any more riddles?

Okay, this one might be easier, though. I'm trying to remember a much harder one right now while I type this one.

That same man is trapped in a room by the same mad scientist from the last riddle. But the man has one out of three different doors he can choose from to escape the room. Each door has a very long room with an exit on the opposite side of that room. The first door is a room filled everywhere with dangerous and raging flames that will burn the man even if he so much as opens the door. The second door is a room full of wild lions that haven't eaten in a year, waiting for their prey to come through the door. The third door is a room filled with about a hundred highly skilled snipers (with several completely blocking the door) that will shoot anybody into swiss cheese if they walk in. Which door can the man choose to escape alive?

Also, I'll give yours a shot.

I'm cool as they come.
All my suits are Calvin Klein.
My lucky number's 69.
I've all the things I need, it's the nature of my breed.
I'm independant, smooth and confident.
I'm always in command.
I've a graceful element and a tasteful compliment.
Do you know who I am?

This is really hard. Hmm... Elvis? I need to think harder about this one.

=o I am so unsure, it's almost depressing.

So you're trapped in a titanium box with no windows or doors... you have a bat, a ball, and a glove. How do you get out?

Yeah Turbo I got new riddle as soon as I read the sentence about the door with the lions. Also, the riddle I posted is actually a verse from a popular song, or atleast it was popular. As for Joey's riddle, I know my answer isn't right, but it's still word play, so I think it could work.

Set the glove on the ground, so the ball could roll right into it. Stand back a little bit, and hit the ball into the glove with the bat. You've got yourself a hole in one, now you can escape through the hole. :hehe:

@ the tree in forest no one around riddle: It makes the vibrations that cause sound to be heard in the ears. If no one was around obviously no real 'sound' took place, but the vibrations did.

Thee men spend a night in a hotel. The desk clerk charged them $30.00 for the room. Shortly afterwards the desk clerk realized that he had overcharged the three men by $5.00. He calls the bell boy over, gives him the $5.00 and explains to him that he had overcharged the three men and asked him to go up and give them the $5.00. On his way up, the bell boy realizes the men will not be able to split $5, and so he decides to take $2 for himself, and give each man $1. They will be happy and I will have picked up $2.00. But when he does that and gives each man $1.00, that means they only paid $9.00 each for the room, which is a total of $27.00; plus the $2.00 the bell boy pocketed is a total of $29.00. But they gave the desk clerk $30.00! Where did the extra $1.00 go?

This is an old one, but it's difficult to explain the answer.

This riddle doesn't work because that line is wrong. You can't say they each got $1 back and therefore paid $9 each (total $27) as the bell boy pocketed $2 which was not returned to them.

$30 - $5 + $2 + $3 = $30

Er, the lions that haven't eaten in a year? Because lions can't live without eating for a year? *edit* Pffft I was on the wrong page.

I still don't remember the one I was going to say but I have remembered another one.

Mark's mother had 4 children. The oldest was a girl named April, the second oldest was a girl named May, and the third oldest was a girl named June. What was the name of the 4th child?

EDIT: I remembered the one I wanted to say! Here it is:

There is a man that lives on the top floor of a very tall building. Everyday he takes the elevator down to the ground floor to leave the building to go to work. But upon returning from work though, he can only travel halfway up in the elevator and has to walk the rest of the way, unless it's raining. Why?
