There's no way to stop him from doing it. Any caged animal (or even dogs or the like in kennels) make noise that will bug you. My guinea pig does as well. Just part of owning a pet. :/

Wow, you're lucky to have one. They are exremely intelligent, you can get them to talk, imitate sounds, understand what's going on to some degree, I think they're the smartest animal in the world besides humans.
