What are the most painful tattoos? The colored tattoos or pure black tattoos?

I would say the color tattoos.

You're getting waaay more work done with color. You're under the needle a lot more. So it hurts the same, it's just more of it.

Get a tattoo in a place that you don't lie on or use much often. For example, if you want to get one on your right shoulder, but when you sleep, you lie on it more than your left shoulder, you're better off getting a tattoo on your left shoulder.

I'm not a tattoo kind of guy. I prefer hennas, and you could always re-apply it once it goes away.

Why shouldn't you get a tattoo on a side that you lie on?

It's going to hurt . . . really bad . . . Pressure is applied, and pressure on your new tattoo is the equivalent to pain . . . searing pain. I have some friends that . . . let's just say that they are . . . in a better place now.

If you have a tattoo on the front of your right thigh, and you lie on your right side when you sleep, well, then it won't be a problem since the tattoo is on the front of your thigh, not the right side. Just don't apply pressure on it is what I'm saying.

Hennas rock! I like them because you don't feel pain. The problem is that they're not permanent.

The rule of thumb for pain is to pinch yourself, and wherever it hurts the most when you pinch is where it'll hurt the most for a tattoo (so back of the arm, inner thigh, stuff like that). I have one on my left forearm, and I plan on getting another on my rips.
