http://www.coryangen.net/test2/

Both are simple. I made them both at the same time, but chose the first for my actual site.

I don't like the colors, and it's too simple for me. Not much of a design.

I think that people get bad reviews for simple designs too much.

I personally think it's good, but with the free floating, simple design, needs to come some sort of animation to break the monotony.

If the text did a few things, it would be really cool.

Great to see some other people going for simple designs.

How can you say this is even a design? It contains one image...

Design is a loose concept. I like it, you don't have to, jeez.

Yes, it needs a tad more structure, more flow, but it's a good start.

I am just a fan of laid back, free flowing simple designs, that doesn't mean everyone has to.

Sorry Parrappa. :/

Well at least one person gets it. I know there wasn't a whole lot of imagery in these ones, but the coding actually was harder than it would appear.

My previous one was http://www.coryangen.net/temp/ It had more graphics for ya.

Designs don't need to be overloaded with pretty colours and high resolution images to become a design. Design, as Feignt says, is a very lose concept, and even the simplest things can be classed as design.

On the whole CornLord I like it, I prefer the second template though because of the hovers on the text based links.

Keep it up though. ^_^

From the first two I prefer /test2, but the logos used in both are really good.

I really like /temp though, nice work.

I think you need to learn a bit more about designs, there's more in the world than 'tech' you know.

Anyway, on the first one I think it would be better if the hover had the little underline thing on the left hand side, because I couldn't see it, as I always tend to go to the right hand side of the link when hovering... but I'm guessing only I do that. :P

I personally prefer the second one to the first one.
