There's this girl I like.. We're like best friends. Our parents know each other and everything. She always tells me her deepest thoughts and feelings and everything. But we're just friends. I like her and want her to be my girlfriend. I am 14 just to say.. I am shy to ask her out. If she says 'no'. It will mess up our whole friendship. What should I do? I mean, I want to get my first kiss.. And I want my first girl friend.. But what if she says no..

A classic story, to be honest. It sounds to me like you two are pretty close, so I think you'd have a pretty good chance with her, but then again, she may not think of you like that because of how close you are in your friendship. But you just have to have some confidence, and ask her out! If she says no, continue to try and be a great friend to her, I know it may suck, but I know anyone has a chance, and so do you!

I wouldn't risk it. Try to move into the "friends with benefits" thing. Trust me, getting your first girlfriend is a lot less exciting then you think it is.

Yeah that would screw the friendship relationship up as well. |

That was kind of the same situation of me, besides the parents knowing each other. I basically manned up and just said it. Now we're dating

So it's safe to say it'll either turn out bad or good. I would probably ask a close friend of hers to ask what she thinks of you first. |

Basically, all I'm saying is, it's going to eat at you more and more the more you just let it sit, and it will eventually drive you absolutely nuts. I lost my apatite and couldn't sleep. Just somehow blurt it out your you'll be kicking yourself for never doing so. |

Sounds like one of my relationships. I would ask some of your mutual friends to try and find out if she likes you. That's what my ex did. btw, I went out with him for over a year... It only ended because we were both terrible at long distance relationships. We're still pretty good friends though. I don't think it'll mess up your relationship if she doesn't like you that way. It'll make things a bit awkward for a bit, but as long as you don't try to push her into going out with your friendship should stay intact. |

Her friends would say 'I don't know' and then go tell her. |

thats why you have to find a friend that you are friends with to ASK HER if she likes you. |

Just hold her hand or something...if she has a bad reaction, then she doesn't like you on that level. Geez...being a guy is some much easier than being a girl. |
