I'm not sure that's the same thing. what was the world like? Anyway, I also got this other thing quite a few times where I stare down at my hands and I perceive it in such a way that they look like they're not connected to my body. Like a photo. like they're just moving arms, that's it. |

ahahaha... this is Brain Juice not Supersticiatopia. I actually think mirrors can have an interesting effect on us. I have a big walk-in closet in my room with 2 slide doors on it, and the doors are mirrors. A few times I have just turned off all of the nights so it was almost completely dark except for whatever moonlight made it in through the cracks of my mini blinds, and just sat in front of this mirror and stared myself in the face. I did it kind of just to have a moment of introspection with myself. It's really weird and seems scary, because if you just stare into your eyes, they are so captivating and your mind kind of plays tricks on you. By focusing so much on my eyes, I lost focus on the rest of my face, and I felt like I could see it changing as if I had sort of lost the definition in it and my mind just filled in the variables. I looked like a monster to myself! haha it is really trippy |

Well, some of you might wanna try this: Get into the mirror's reflection radius, and then randomly grab a piece of hair from your head, then measure it with a ruler. If the hair is of different length that the one in your reflection, then never look back up, or ever turn back to that mirror ever again.

I do something similar, where I stare at my reflection so much I can tricky my eyes into seeing the rest of my facial features disappear. |

I'm unsure whether or not this has any relation to your experience but I tend to suddenly feel unsafe at times. I'll get a gut feeling that something is wrong for around 30 seconds then it suddenly fades. |

Not really. But I bet it is something psychological. |
