I hope this is the right section for this, but
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/7053982.stm

It seems logical, he never had an interest in relationships.

Just imagine how many more books will be burned because of this... :P

Who fricken cares? It's not like it has any affect on the outcome of the story. It's not like Rowling ever had a detailed sex scene between Dumbledore and some other dude.
Plus, he dies anyway.

Yeah, but Dumbledore, to me, just doesn't seem like the kind of person, honestly. He's a Master Wizard, Headmaster of Hogwarts, basically the strongest person in all of Harry Potter...

It just doesn't seem right. Dumbledore is like the wise old man who has no love... I don't know how to describe it!

I'm not intolerant of gays, though. I have a few gay friends. It doesn't bother me.

As someone from Digg best puts it:

"That woman needs to stop reading HP fanfiction. Seriously."

It doesn't bother me, I actually find it amusing. I just know that it will affect the same people who burned the books because of witchcraft.

This admission really changes nothing for me. People should be defined by their actions, not their sexual orientation.

Dumbledore will always be the respected Headmaster who guided Harry in his battle against Voldemort.

Also, if people couldn't figure it until AFTER reading the series [when Rowling announce it] then it couldn't have made any impact on the books whatsoever. It makes no difference. :P

This is just some retarded publicity stunt. I find nothing wrong with gay people, or the possibility of Dumbledore being gay, but it has nothing to do with the story. And the guy wanted her to include more in the books about it? Why? The books don't need anything about any of the characters sexually.

This isn't really that fascinating. I agree with both CornLord and Leda. It shouldn't matter that he's gay. ^o)

And because he's the headmaster and the strongest wizard he can't be Gay? That's arrogant x_x

Seriously, it means nothing to me. The story is still the same, and that didn't change anything actually . . .

Who cares if he's gay. If he's attracted to men then let him be, his life, his decisions.
