I feel bad for Richard Harris though having this sprung on him.

why? it's not like he has to do some kind of gay sex scene.

Though he does not have to partake in an extremely homosexual scene, but on all the Harry Potter news websites that are talking about the fact of Dumbledore being gay, Harris's picture will appear with the story. Therefore, many will mistake him to be homosexual, when he is not. x_x

it's called acting.

What happened to the actors in broke back mountain? How did there reps do after that one.

I am tired of all this acceptance blah blah stuff.

we're learning to kill a mocking bird in english and it is SO boring. why do we always have to read gay books on racism and junk? it's BORING!

The only way to prevent a repition of the past is to learn about it. If we didn't and we forgot we would just make the mistakes over again.

In germany now, after the world war almost all evidence of the World War was destroyed and its really starting to worry people. ONE, one small section of the berlin wall stands and its a great symbol for man to look down upon and aspire to never reach that low again.

Hate crimes are still happening today, In alabama (I think?) 6 black people are being put on trial and risk being put away for life sentences (one already has), for a school yard fight. A fight which happen because the boys refused to move from the "white only tree" and nooses were hung the next day. A fight, I myself was in 3 when I was a kid, one was much much worse than this one But these kids are being put into jail because there skin is a few pixels to dark. It's revolting. We need to learn to accept people for who they are. So that these attrocities can never occur again (unfortunately they will happen again, even if these books change one persons view on life. They have done a great deed.)

I don't know what this topic is about... although I have some sort of clue. But where'd this information come from? I don't recall reading that kind of information from the books.

I heard that the person who played Dumbledore in like the first four movies had passed away...?

Like I said, I don't remember or recall anything about Dumbledore being gay... unless it was the actor... O.o?

Yes, according to JK Rowling, the character of Albus Dumbledore is gay.

The actor called Richard Harris that played Dumbledore in the first two films passed away several years ago, so I don't see why he's being brought into the topic - he's now being played by a bloke called Michael Gambon.

Everyone had been so well informed of everything... T_T Gosh, am I truly a Harry Potter fan?XD

Wait, wait wait... let me clarify this for myself: The person who plays Dumbledore is gay, or the character himself is gay... which is it? O.o

Sorry for sounding dumb but I'm a bit slow and sometimes words tend to confuse me. ><;;

The character is gay, not the actor. It didn't surprise me actually, I always wondered why Dumbledore never had a partner or wife. Only till about last year I had a feeling he way gay and it seems I was correct. :P
