Apparently the writer's do not get residuals from DVD sales, which hasn't be re-negotiated since 1989. As much as I love to watch television, it doesn't seem fair to deny the writers their fair share of the money made by selling DVD's.  :/

Same with the internet... When NBC or other networks put the shows online, the writers don't get the money that's made from internet advertisements.

Production of The Office has stopped, and 24 has been delayed indefinitely... :( Fortunately Lost already has 8 episodes recorded, and the season does not start until February, so I am hoping for an uninterrupted season...
