As many of you know today is General Election day for the fellow U.S. citizens. I just turned 18 August, and so I was able to vote in this election. So I regestered to vote but had Sooo... much going on that I didn't have time untill last night to look up the candidates. I looked for a good hour but found very little information on anything. I guess general elections isn't my main focus though, I really want to get my facts straight on the Primary. So heres the idea. Make a website where you enter your state (and maybe county if it applies in Primary?), and it automatically pulls up all the candidates that you will be voting for come election day. It shows a brief chart of "hot topics", (ex abortion, gay rights, the war, etc... ) A simple yes or no chart, or other with an explination. Make it so if you click on "No" under "Gay Rights' that it will give reasons, and supporting evidence for why he agrees or disagrees with it. Then you simply click the candidate that you like the best, click "Next" and it gives you a print-off of all your candidates. So on election day, bring that, put them in, and your view is expressed . So, just wanted some ideas, suggestions, if you would support it/use it? |

Most of the people on this forum aren't old enough to vote yet. Plus this is an invisionfree skinning forum, a lot of people could careless about politics. Although it could be useful, just not that great around here. Good luck though. |

Hmm, good point. But one of my main reasons for posting on here is because people that visit here seem to be average people. Which is who the website would target. People who don't have time to research candidates for hours because they are just too busy. Good point though, thanks.
