Now that Week 9 is over, we're halfway through the regular season.

Here's the standings so far: http://www.nfl.com/standings

It's certainly no surprise that the Pats are undefeated. Especially with the way they've been decimating their opponents.

The Lions are the most surprising team, imo. They've made a real turnaround and have a good shot at the playoffs if they can keep it up. They're the only team in the NFC North that can give the Pack a run for their money. Their first meeting with GB will be at home on the 22nd. Should be good.

The Jets? Meh. They got lucky just beating the Dolphins. They'll maybe be 2-14 at the end of the year.

The Browns, well... they're playing a lot better. But I don't know if their only two "quality wins" against the Seahawks and Ravens will reflect a truly good team. Playoffs? I don't think so, unless they finish with a solid division play record (either beating Pittsburgh (don't think that's happening, but they could make that game interesting) or Baltimore, and they should beat the Bengals).
