Is it possible to put a DVD into your library off of a disc? Or would you have to download it from the web? |

Yes it is possible, you need a combination of a program called DVD43, to remove the copyright protection, and one called DVD Decrypter to grab the image off the disc. You can only do this if it is to make a backup of the movies. Anything else is illegal. |

If you want to "rip" the DVD (take the DVD and put it on your hard drive) then you can use a program called Magic DVD ripper (google it, it's free) and it will write the DVD to your hdd in MPEG. Again, any other uses of this other than to backup the DVD is illegal. |
