Don't waste your money with a touch. Just wait for the GB to get bigger and for now buy a nano or something.

That's not a scratch. Whoever said its a scratch isn't very smart. My money is on the dead pixels. It can happen, really you have to contact apple and get a replacement.

because your just saying that by what it looks like completely out rules scratches I've seen, and had on my own iPod almost exactly like that.... But obviously going by first hand experience is a stupid thing to do now-a-days
