I'm sure many of you have already heard of this. They say that they recently found the lost book of Nostradamus saying the exact date of the end of the world which is Dec 21 2012 i think it was Dec.2 i don't remember but it was one of those days. Its really interesting because the Mayans predicted the end of the world to also be 2012. And many scientist are also saying that there will be a poler shift --- coming soon. so what are your guy's opinions on this? do you believe it? or do you think its bull c*rap? |

The world will end at my birthday! ![]() Seriously though, if it ends, it ends. I don't worry over things like this. |

Mayans didn't predict the end of the world, misinterpretations of a calendar ending did. |

I think this has something to do with the time-maximum in the first Linux OS's. I recently heard that the world is going to end when the first Linux computers' timer runs out, essentially. I don't care, though. |

I heard there will be a some sort of explosion from the sun. If it's negative, the world will be consumed by heat. If it's positive, then it will bounce off the earth. Of something like that. Sorry, I forgot what the thing was called. Anyways, if it is the end of the world, then so be it. There are things that are happening today that were predicted in the Bible, so I know that the end times are near. |

I highly doubt that the world is going to end then. Scientists predicted that the world would end in 2000. Everyone thought that the world was going to end on 6/6/06. ...And yet, we're still here. |

I highly doubt it will happen. I honestly see no proof whatsoever that this could be possible.

Your too cool little one XD Newton predicted the world to end in 2060, he is much more credible. So i will go with him. Nostradamus is consistently wrong. He just makes these extremely vague predictions that can be interpreted a million different ways. You could take almost any of his predictions and fit it with something. For example, he predicted the king would face a terrible death. Well duh, a lot of people do. He was never specific and there is a reason for it.... |

To be more exact, scientists have a theory that in 5-10 billion years, there will be a supernova (an explosion of the sun). But I seriously doubt it, because there is no point of creating a species of evolved life if it's not going to be eternal. But the 2012 theory is laughable. I see no reason why the Earth will just... end. Global warming? No, it's still only a theory (yes, I am a skeptic of the idea) and is not due to happen until 2040-2050. Either way, in my opinion humans are perfectly safe.

The only possible way that the world could end, in a blink of an eye, would be a nuclear fallout. |
