When I perform a full "System Recovery" does it terminate...everything? Like, my internet browser (default internet browser = Internet Explorer) if so, how would I go about downloading another browser if I don't have a browser in the first place.

Second, how do I go about performed a "System Recovery" What do I do execute one.

Thank you.

System recovery will take your computer down to just the operating system, deleting everything else on the Hard Drive. To execute one, you usually need a press a key when you start your computer up (some common ones are f1 and del), look in your manual for this. Then you'll need to put in the recovery disk or operating system disk 1, whichever you have. Then it should reinstall your operating system.

How do I find out which disk is which? Does it say "System Recovery" disk or something?

Well, it depends, did your computer come with Windows on it? If it did, it probably came with a Recovery Disk, and it should say that on the cd/dvd

Okay, I'm pretty sure I found them. There's 3 of them though. Anyways, I don't know where my manual is, so when I insert the disks (I've pressed F1 on the start-up) and I was brought to the screen and I don't know what to do now...?
