Since Christmas is coming up, I was thinking of asking for a month or two subscription to one of those companies that let's you download music. Napster is a good example if you don't know what I'm saying. I've never done anything like this, so I'm not exactly sure what to judge by, but I'm hoping someone can help me find a good one. Here's what it must have -Unlimited downloads per the month or two that I have it (and ability to have more than one download going at the same time would be nice) -Good download speed -Good song choice (I'm into a lot of differant stuff, and if they don't have what I want, I'm not going to be happy :o) -Very good quality Thanks for the help

It's for me. I want a monthly fee with unlimited downloads, not a pay-per-song thing. Thanks for the suggestion though ![]() And anyone thinking they've got something good to say when they mention free ways to do it, no. Do you think after this long I've never used those options? Seriously, I don't care about the illegalness of it, that doesn't bother me. It's how unsafe it always is. I've always lived by the moto, 'if you don't do stupid things, nothing bad will ever happen to your computer'. Trusting some idiot with your music supply is stupid, you see what happens next in the chain? The point of this topic was to find a better alternative to boosting my music collection, not to have someone tell me something the world knows. Yes, you can get free music, yes, it does work. I've tried it, and I'm sure everyone else has. If not for the sheer idiocy of mentioning that, don't do it because of the TOS. I'd like my topic to stay open, not be closed because some people can't keep to themselves. |

Exactly what I was about to say. I have Limewire Pro. It's not illegal, unless I don't pay. |

I feel your pain from noobs -_- Like I said try eMusic. It is legal, you get like 25-75 downloads a month, and you also have good music quality . The songs are able to be used on your iPod. |

He doesn't want to do it ilegally. If you aren't going to read the posts above then feel free to not post anymore, thanks. Anyway, back on topic, there isn't really a good monthly pay place to get music, seeing as how one could download tons of music in that time, it would be extremely expensive because one could download hundreds upon hundreds of songs. I say iTunes, or Napster, even though you said no, there isn't really a quality place to do a monthly pay service. Or you could just hit up your local music store. Sorry for the unhelpfullness.

You're asking for imaginary things. There is no website or program that you pay a monthly service and get unlimited downloads, sorry. It would be such a bad investment for the site. Your options are paying per song, album, or doing it illegally. Safe illegal downloads you can find on several livejournal sites like wedontsentit. It's safe and free, besides of course, the illegality. |
