More megapixels just means more information the camera sensor can see. If you have a poor quality lens, you'll get 12 million pixels of a bad image. Better lens = better quality. Examples of this are a lot of low DSLRs; MPs low as 6, yet they better images than some 10 MP I've witnessed. Though if you have a low enough MP, the image will look bad. Anything under 5 MP; I don't like the image. Tell me the model number of the camera, and I'll tell you whether or not it's a good camera. Also, MP this day and age are useless; there are other features out there that are more important than MP. With 7 MP cameras being around $100, look for other features. |

Based it my costumer's knowledge, more MP means better quality of image. Wait for what Vulcan have to say about the camera, 'cause I only know that XD |

Fairly decent camera. Though from what I've tested with it, it's a bit slow in taking the image. Also, the 3x optical zoom is the minimum on all cameras. If you like taking pictures of things far away, then the zoom will not be that good. Oh, it doesn't have Face Detection technology as well. If you want to take images of people, that is a feature you may have to look for. Besides those three things (slow image capture, low zoom, no face detection), the camera is great; images are nice. |
