I tried using the Yahoo website, but nothing helped me, so you guys are my only hope. I recently had a lot of viruses on my computer that suddenly activated at once, but luckily, none of my passwords were stolen. After I logged out of Yahoo Messenger, I couldn't sign back in. I was able to sign into my mail(since you use the same username and password in Yahoo Mail and Messenger), so that would mean that no one changed my password. Every time I try to sign into Yahoo Messenger, it says that it's logging in, and then goes back to the screen where you have to put your username and password. I reinstalled Yahoo Messenger, but it wouldn't help. right now, I'm doing another scan using AVG Free Trial(Is it good?), and so far, there aren't any threats. Any advice? |

Possible that even though the virus is gone, that it has done its damage and corrupted some files. Try reinstalling a better IM client like pidgn (http://www.pidgin.im/) and give that a try. If i were ever to be hit with a virus, i would probably reinstall windows to be safe. |

Do you guys think that it is the fault of Yahoo Messenger, or my computer? I reinstalled Yahoo Messenger about 5 times, and it still isn't working. |

If it doesn't work on Pidgin I'd say its your PC. |
