Service pack

It's been leaked already, but that is an unstable version that they are working on. I would assume that it would be coming out relatively soon.

As for Vista

I just wish it was smaller, more handy. It's bulky, there are tons of unnecessary features, load times suck, it gets weighed down easily.

But it isn't as bad as most make it out to be.

My question is WHY do you want to upgrade to Vista. If you computer's not broken, why try to fix it.

IMHO, the only time you should look at getting a new operating system is when you buy a new computer.

Vista gets alot of flack for the amount of resources it uses to run promptly but if you have the allotted resources, you should be fine. A large upside to Vista is the accessibility. You feel as if you have your fingertips on everything. Though some don't like the placement of folders and such, once you're used to it, the XP format will seem useless.

Exactly. I think there is only one game that I can think of that will only work with Vista alone, and that is Halo 2. Besides that, a lot of your peripherals and games will still work with XP.
