Ok, a question for most of you experienced skinners. How did you get started? Obviously, you didn't have you're own coding style or graphics, so how did you develop them? Did you start by using IF's default CSS and edit them or did you copy another's CSS and edit that? After a few skins, how did you develop your own style? etc..................![]() So yeah, just a few questions about how you got started.

I started off by editing the default CSS, but I've never really developed a specific style when it comes to creating skins (even though it's very rare). I just go with what I'm feeling there and then.

I don't really have a style yet, or at least I haven't noticed one. If someone wants to point it out to me I'd be much appreciated. I generally try to do new stuff on each skin. I'll go find a style...

I just picked it up on my own, reading docs, looking up some different CSS things. And then my style in graphics, as I am assuming this is what you mean, is more dullish colors with some bevelling |
