Haha, must suck for the kids who look up to her. Should be interesting to see how this will affect the channel.

Honestly, Disney could probably have a few of their stupid TV shows taken off and it wouldn't hurt them one bit.

Ms. Cyrus, the star of the wholesome Disney Channel blockbuster “Hannah Montana,” had posed topless, albeit with her chest covered, for the Vanity Fair photographer, Annie Leibovitz. “Parents should be extremely concerned,” Ms. Burress said in an interview. “Very young girls look up to Miley Cyrus as a role model.”

Teh noes? :ermm: I wasn't aware people that prude still existed...

lol

It's a bit gross that they're letting a 15 year old pose topless with only a cover on. I'm 15 and I certainly wouldn't do that. But it's up to her what she does.

Also, alot of kids do look up to her, but I don't see how posing like that is going to effect them. Would they even see the magazine? And what exactly would it do to them? :/

I don't think it's much of a deal. I mean, these days kids can see things that are much 'worse' than that simply by turning the tv on or getting on the computer.

Can't see it affecting kids, since they surely wouldn't be allowed to buy the magazine in shops, nor would their parents get it for them. ;)

She's 15, soon to be 16. She posed for a photo shoot, she apologized and that's the end of it. It's not like Hannah Montana fans are going to start a rebellion because she wanted to make some money. :|

I personally think that it's a bit wrong that the photographer wanted that shot. I don't blame Hannah/Miley. The photo is artistic, yes. But the woman/girl in the photo is too young to be displayed in that kind of art.

It's still pretty revealing :/ . However, the people are overreacting. You can't really expect a 15 year old to stay goodie-two-shoes forever, it's her decision whether she wants to pose for a picture like that.

Not really, there are many clothes that expose the back and shoulders.

It's the fact that what's covering her up are satin bed-sheets. You don't have to be a rocket-engineer to associate satin bed sheets + naked girl into sexual acts.

And yeah, she can't be goody-two-shoes forever. I even expect her to do some more adultish things later in here career, but she's too young right now.
