Okay, I really need help. I don't think anyone has posted anything like this, but feel free to close this if they have!

But I really need help as far as MAKING a skin and understanding it. Like, what programs do you use? (I have Corel Paint Shop Pro XI) And how do you format them? What do you use to host them?

If anyone could direct me towards a tutorial, that'd be great! :D

Oh, and by the way, you don't need to host your CSS. Just put it on the forum board. Anyway, if you still wish to host it, there's a special code for this. You will need something like a ripway (or whatever you prefer to use) account though.

On your board go to,
Admin CP >> Manage Style Sheets.
It is from that location that you'll find the CSS, which is what you'll need to edit to change the skin.

Much of skinning is a learn as you go experience, but the following generalized links will be of help to you as you learn:
If after attempting to manually edit the CSS via the Manage Style Sheets pages you decide that it is too complicated, there are alternative methods you can take. The links below are to Skin Generators located on our website that you can make a skin with.
Good luck and if you have any further questions, don't hesitate to post here.
