Code Name: Pin Blog Entries

What the code does: Allows you to pin blog entries just as you would topics. Preview #1 - Preview #2

How to use the code: Install as instructed, no editing is required.

How to install the code:

Admin CP Posted Image Themes Posted Image Board Template Posted Image Below the Board
Code:

<script type="text/javascript" src="http://b2.ifrm.com/63/1/0/p701610/Pin_Blog_Entries.js"></script>
Extra notes: Clicking the 'Create a Pinned Entries Category' link will create a 'Pin Entry' category that you can select from the Category field when posting a new entry.

The only recommendation I have is to check if the Pinned category has been created if the user clicks the "Create a Pinned Entries Category" link a second time (let's say after clearing their cookies).

This code uses local storage, not cookies, but I think I'm understanding the point you're trying to express, being the code should check for the 'Pin Entry' category link to hide the 'Create a Pinned Entries Category' link and middot instead of relying on local storage that can be cleared?
