I'm back at it. This time with a showcase of something I have been working on thanks to some inspiration and a lot of learning from the work of DPM who has done practically everything that needs doing for most themes right here -> http://support.zathyus.com/topic/7013266/1/ I learned from his code, and started working on my own little design change to ZetaBoards. It's still in really early development but has been released as is. If you want to see it live go to http://s15.zetaboards.com/zetapro/index/

Again thank you to DPM! Your skills are far greater than mine and your code is amazing.

That is looking great.

I really like how you streamlined the miniprofile by just using the button link to the profile page instead of trying to display all the mini-profile info there. It makes sense for mobile viewing.

I really hope that many boards and new theme creators will apply and adapt DPM's mobile responsive codes. It will make the whole ZetaBoards community more accessible to the multitudes of people who now only use their phones for internet activities.

Thank you zbug and Helena!

@Helena - I agree that as a mobile user you don't need all the profile on post pages, and removing everything except the important parts just makes everything more streamlined. DPM's code is absolutely amazing and I am so thankful he released it!

I've redesigned the topmenu and submenu to be a little more user friendly and more easily implement into any theme. There will be a light and a dark version. Let me know what you think.

Just wanted to show you all an update. Soon the responsive branch will become part of the main ZB Pro offering proper responsivity across themes without extra work. The idea is to have a light and a dark version this responsive aspect.

Thank you Helena. I realised it was easy enough to make any theme responsive after taking from DPM but wanted to take it a little further to truly make it easy to use and I realised the only way to do that is to make it look like an app someone might have on their phone.

Thank you borderline. The cool thing about it is actually responsive and not just a mobile theme. It look different as you make your browser window smaller from full screen to a tablet size and smaller to a mobile size and then goes back to normal as you increase it. This was especially hard considering the way I have restructured pages for best ciewing requires a bit of JS as well. It took a while to determine what information must be kept and what can be hidden and how to restructure it on the page to ensure everything still looks right.

I've updated blogs for easier reading. This way they are nicely ordered. What do you guys think?

ZetaBoards Pro Responsive has now become part of ZetaBoards Pro as part of its Delta Release. The ZetaBoards Pro theme now comes with built in responsivity and also web templates with simple templating classes for building webpages. :) The webpage templating system is responsive by default. To see it check out http://zetaboards.pro/pages/zbpro/ on a phone.

Thank you man but it's far from it. Everyday I'm fixing bugs and updating it to make sure it's just right.

The blog layout is to bland. Adjust the layout so that it resembles the original zetaboard theme's very own.

What would you do to change it? Add a background colour or boxes or borders? I'm really looking for feedback and ideas. I know it looks bland, but what was going on in my mind at the time was that the normal ZB blog was far too blue and uses those colours for no reason. I made the blog this way so it more closely resembles a normal blog or like a simple journal without added colours and rounded corners and makes it easier to read. If people using the theme want to add colours back in they could without a problem. The cool thing about the theme is it's very easy to change.

You can see the blog design live: http://zetaboards.pro/blog/main/3503840/
And compare it to a normal ZB blog: http://support.zathyus.com/blog/main/1/
And you can test it both on a computer and phone to see how it looks.

The main things that were changed was that the avatar is now next to the about box, the blog menu is at the top with the search box, and then the title and blog posts follow one after the other. It was all structured this way for easier use.
