Anyone recognize those icons?
They keep coming back. And at the same time resets some settings in FireFox (e.g. theme and adblocker), and the homepage is set to http://www.yfuboxdulhihuubiuunebjcu.com/3r...2GQKKwpM7LQ.jpg.

Know what site they come from? How to get rid of them permanently?

Haven't you got some form of adaware or programme that gets rid of them that isn't atatched to FireFox or IE?

Some adware targets adblockers and gets rid of them so you need something not attached to IE or FireFox in order to stop them. I had that before <_< kept on getting rid of my adblocker for IE until I got eScan. Never had a problems since ^_^

Yeah, I run Spybot S&D and Ad-aware regulary, and remove anything found.

But those icons keep coming back.

Odd. Very odd  I know some things don't always work but still :/

eScan's done me proud, never failed  though you have to buy it. Not too expensive though, worth the money. Was about £30-40 when I bought it.

I won't bother paying for those things. :ermm:

Btw, how would I go about re-installing IE (after removing it)?
It also has some spyware that I've never been able to get rid off. That's not something coming back, I've just never been able to remove it.

Well, you should have a disk that contains IE, that's how I installed my internet and how I used to re-install it when there was a huge problem that meant I had to wipe it to get rid of it :/

All I had to do was delete IE and all folders and files then re-install it and voila, it returns, smooth as a baby's bottom :D

yeah ^^; i kinda hate those, i used to get them alot (damn exploit!)

but i kinda hunted down the file and deleted the whole thing, its in your program files, folder name is messbendlove or something like that o_O i cant remember. usually i delete the desktop items, that folder, and then i spybot search and destroy scan, and ad-aware scan and it works perfectly for me o_O

btw, it only seems to get on my desktop when im away for several hours, like sleeping, or at school o_O

I think that is from KaZaA or another sharing program, just delete it with Ad-Aware, located at http://download.com

Er, how do I remove it? It won't let me. >_<

Edit: What kind of processes are connected to IE? And could I just end them and then delete it?
Edit2: What the... for every process named IEXPLORE.EXE I end, it starts another.

(and those files were located in the IE folder; but they seem to affect whatever's the default browser)
